The £80/month goal covers the VPS that runs the streaming server: its storage, bandwidth, and the upload/download capacity that keeps everyone's streams smooth. Everything earned from Cyneqi Premium (£1.99/month per subscriber, via PayPal) goes toward this first. This figure is calculated live from active subscriptions and updates automatically. Anything above the goal funds improvements and future features.

Privacy notice

What we store when you sign in with Discord:

Your Discord ID, username, avatar, and email address (provided by Discord OAuth).
Your playlists (song titles, YouTube video IDs) and preferences (custom images, toggles).
If you subscribe: your PayPal subscription ID and its status. We never see or store your card details, bank details, or PayPal password - payment is handled entirely by PayPal.

What we store without an account: sessions you create (stream link ID, party code, queue) and a random per-browser identifier used only to enforce per-member queue and skip limits. No names, no tracking profiles, no ads trackers, no analytics services.

Where it lives: account data is stored in our database on the web host; stream sessions live on the streaming server. Published public playlists show your Discord username as the creator name - publishing is always your explicit choice.

Your rights: you can sign out at any time (removes the token from your browser). To have your account and all associated data deleted, contact us on Discord and we will remove it.

We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way. Third parties involved: Discord (sign-in), PayPal (payments), YouTube (search and audio sources) - each governed by their own privacy policies.

Terms of service

1. The service

Cyneqi Music lets you search YouTube and stream music into VRChat instances through a personal stream link. It is a community-run hobby service provided as-is, with no uptime or availability guarantee.

2. Acceptable use

Only use stream links in instances where you are the owner or have the owner's permission.
No 18+/NSFW audio, screamers, earrape, or deliberately harmful content in shared instances.
No harassment, impersonation, or targeting of others through song titles or playlist names.
No flooding, scraping, exploiting, or automating the service.
All content must comply with the VRChat Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and with YouTube's Terms of Service.

3. Cyneqi Premium

£1.99/month recurring subscription, billed through PayPal.
Cancel any time from the Funding page - your perks stay active until the end of the paid period.
Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law.
Premium perks (limits, features) may evolve over time; we won't remove core paid features without notice.

4. Enforcement

Breaking these rules can result in removal of sessions, published playlists, or account access. Severe abuse may be reported to VRChat or Discord.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any damages arising from its use or unavailability.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service evolves; the current version always lives on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
